Autistic Boy Begs For Help After Thieves Snatch Away His Therapy Puppy From Home

New South Wales Police Force is looking for a 6-month-old French Bulldog puppy named Kamia, who was stolen from her home in Minerva Street, Kirrawee, toward southern Sydney. Kamia is a companion puppy and therapy animal to Dominic Yule, an 8-year-old boy who suffers from autism and Asperger’s Syndrome.

Mom Monique says that Kamia was playing in the backyard when the thieves broke the lock on the gate and snatched her away. The family has been desperately searching for the puppy through various avenues. It has been over 2 weeks but there is still no sign of Kamia.

Dominic’s condition requires him to be under constant supervision of his therapy dog. He has been extremely distressed ever since Kamia was stolen. The poor boy tearfully said  “Would you please give my dog back?” when media personnel asked him how he felt.
